/signed IF there was much more storage, free extra character slots, and if all of the farming nerfs were un-nerfed. This game is my favorite game, which is why I wouldn't want to just give it up, but I would want some major improvments first.

This game is not good enough to warrant a subscription fee. It's ok a for a freebie but overall it can't stand up to the proper MMO's listed below.

If GW goes to a subscription-based game, I think ALL of us would expect much more from ANet than we are currently getting so we actually feel like we are getting something for our money (new areas to explore, useful and good updates, something to go after in the game, etc..). If this is the case....then /signed

If they make it subscription-based, they'd violate Rule #1 in their Rule of Conduct.

1. While playing Guild Wars, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players.

If it goes subscription, I for one would feel ANet is not respecting the right of others to enjoy the game...........and they would cause MAJOR distress in me.....maybe even to the point where my hair would fall out.

If they keep it how it is and slap subscriptions all over the place, then I may have to rethink everything and look into a different game.

Silkroad Online (MMORPG) is free to play but they use online shops to get funds to keep servers up etc. If Guild Wars 2 comes and it is MMORPG I'm only playing IF they fund it via online shop (new pets to characters) etc but let those who not use online shop just play with game's price.

im broke right now paying 50 bucks a month for internet service.
gw is a really awesome game. and props to the devs for doing what they do with nice expertise. but to pay monthly fees for a game thats so limited, cant farm anymore, nerfed, fkd with every 2 weeks. i'd go back to playing UT2k4.

/signed if the monthly fee is not too high (5€ would be good) and they change the servers so that its an open world like other mmorpgs, but since i dont think they will actually change the whole gameplay just because id like an open world for my money its probably gonna be a /not signed.

Things like that will not happen.

1. When a company goes bankrupt, they simply close down. The employees suffer, while the owner smile with joy.
2. When a company make negative profit, they're simply spending their loyal stock owner's money. Their stock price will fall, but the company will not close down.
3. Anet's business model is VERY profitable. As stated by one of founder (forgot which one), over 1/3 of their development (or is it just art?) team is stationed in Beijing, China. So their development cost is only a portion of what standard MMORPG.
